*MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION *

on tue.. mi n qing went to hear a briefing conducted by The Make-A-Wish Foundation®! This foundation is dedicated to a simple mission to grant the heartfelt wishes of children in Singapore who suffer from life-threatening illness including brain cancer, leukemia and rare metabolic disorders. The wishes of these kids can be as short as "I wish to be a doctor.” “I wish to meet Beckham.” “I wish to have a dog.” “I wish to go to Disneyland.” During the talk, we watched some videos and it is so amazing to c how much they did to grant these kids' wishes... all these wishes amount to a great deal of money n w/0 donations from the public it is almost impossible to sustain.. esp since ncss dun fund them regularly as well.. so UUUU fortunate peeps out there.... kindly go to www.makeawish.org.sg n help make a kid's wish cum true!!!! u can help either financially or b a wish granter!

for me... as i already have committment as a befriender at tc, i dun tink i should b a wish granter juz yet.. so mi n qing signed up to help for their fundraising event the 'Charity Golf Tournament"! haha i would luv to help decorate the buggies or pack goodie bags! seems fun! oh ya!!! anyone hu luv golfing or parents luv to golf n is willing to do sum charity.. pls sign up for this event n take part.. its on 26th july... all proceeds will go to help grant these children's wishes ***
